Saturday, May 11, 2002Let me get this straight -- The government is at fault because it failed to help people break the law. That this lawsuit even sees the light of day is a sad comment on the total lack of respect for the rule of law in this country. I am surely sorry that these people died, but to argue that it is the government's fault is simply ridiculous. I hope the judge has the sense to throw this out.Friday, May 10, 2002Rush Limbaugh has the perfect solution for dealing with Luke Helder, the pipe bomber. Clearly something must be done, and since we are always consistent in our policies, we should immediately implement Rush's plan.Wednesday, May 08, 2002How long do you think it will take the press to label this guy a "right-wing nut", even though it's clear that he's a lefty with environmentalist wacko leanings? I'd say by the end of the week, if not sooner.Man, it is tough being stupid. Tuesday, May 07, 2002Another word about Israel today -- I want to remind you all again that Israel is a democracy. It is a country of free people who freely elect their leaders. This is not true of any other country in the Middle East. Here's another thought -- the Europeans are in no moral position to have a say in what goes on in Isreal. The anti-semitism that is rearing its ugly head is simply disgusting, and tells me that it has always been there, bubbling below the surface, hidden only by the thinnest of veneers. So, as it stands now, there are two kinds of countries to consider -- those that side with freedom and democracy, and those that side with tyrrany, anti-semitism, and murder. Which side is, say, France on? |
